Italy Day 2

Today was mostly spent relaxing at the villa and getting adjusted to the time change. We briefly ventured out to the nearby town of Subbiano to stock up on groceries. The grocery store was very similar to US stores, even carrying some of the same brands. We did have to translate a few Italian words to be sure what we were getting. Finding the right translation for cuts of meat proved a bit challenging.

The streets of Subbiano were often narrow and occasionally came to dead ends, despite the protestations of the GPS in our rental car.
The carts at the Supermercato A&O required a euro coin to be taken from their storage rack. After you were done with the cart you could lock it back up and immediately get your coin back. It was a simple and convenient way to keep the parking lot free from abandoned carts.
The cousins swam during the day and played games throughout the evening. As usual, Buddy came to visit.
Eventually Buddy put himself to bed in an accommodating suitcase.
